Palesa:Hi ladies I have finally got my hands on the movie (Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone).I have watched the movie and it is a little different from the book.Other parts of the book were omitted but it makes sense watching the movie and actually seing the characters with your eyes unlike reading the book and visualising the characters for yourself. I also got my hands on another book by Gcina Mhlophe but I forgot the name of the book. I will read it over the holidays and share it with anyone who is interested to read it.Have yourselves a great and safe holiday, hope to see each and everyone of you when we come back from recess.

ReplyDeleteLerato Ndabezitha:Hi ladies I couldn’t agree more with you palesa, it’s much better if you watch the movie even though it’s not exactly the same. I think it helps with imagination of the characters, plot, setting and etc. So far I like hagrid because of his physical appearance he looks funny to me
ReplyDeleteZethu: I also got a chance to watch the movie and it is not entirely different from the book. I am somewhat disapointed in some of the parts that they omitted because those are the parts that got me glued even more to the book.
ReplyDeleteMakgotso: Hi ladies i also got the chance to watch the movie. For me it was very interesting as I started by reading the book and get so cunfused especially the first chapter, as it has so many characters. that got me frustrated and demotivated until Iwatch the movie it was making sense. Although the movie is not axactly like the story in the book but it gave me clarity and understanding of the story in the book.
