sthembile: about the Gcina Mahlophe's book i loved the stories in that book aspecially the first story where she speaks about the moon, star, sea and the Sun. the  Sun and the moon had children of which they loved so much and they dicided to name them the stars. the Sun will go during the day and come back share his happiest moments with his family. one day he meet with the sea and even invited him to his home. ooh no he forgoten about the size of his house and the sea was so big in such a way that the sun had to enlarge his house in order for the sea to visit them. after he has build his house in order to accomodate the sea, the Sun went back to the sea and invited it to his big home, well the sea didn't waist any time. the sea went with his family and when they got there the sea was to big even the new the house fall off. the moon and the stars were too hate to bear the pain they dicided to to fly up the sky. and the Sun went to look after them. well they never meet each other again, that is why we see the Sun during the day and the moon,stars during the night.
